INCREDIBLY delicious! That would say almost everything. We just received a delivery from an extremely friendly employee. Unpacked Divided up Eaten Very rarely do I feel the need to give a review or even a kudos for the food delivered. But here it wasn't just a wish, it was almost a duty. Because such a shop has to be supported. Thanks for this great meal. Any time. Happy New :)

We had recently ordered there for the first time. After about 1.5 hours the food (3 identical dishes) finally arrived. Well, we had hoped for a little more thanks to the mega feedback on Insta. Unfortunately, Jollof was pretty dry and tasted too intense of ginger. Tomato stew was burnt just like the bean sauce (both had this burnt taste). The hot sauce was good. Well with the salad there was more green salad than anything else 2 corn grains and 2 half cucumber slices and 1-2 pieces of tomato. Could be more in my opinion. I can't say anything about the dressing, I ordered without it. What was positive was the chicken. The meat was well seasoned and grilled and the only thing that really convinced me in terms of taste. I know every company has a bad day, but something like that shouldn't happen in gastronomy. It's a shame.

Super good food, staff in a good mood and a funny atmosphere. The beef is incredibly good and I am an absolute fan of the spicy food and the meet my taste on point. Unfortunately little bursts, but that was forgotten as soon as you made yourself comfortable and quickly got into conversations with other people. When time permits, one should go there and experience it for oneself. Keep it up!

Super tasty, interesting food at a reasonable price! We ordered from Mataa's Kitchen via Lieferando on Saturday evening and loved it. The food came even earlier than planned and was still hot when it got to us (although we live a bit out of the way). We ordered a starter, two main courses and a bedside table for two for a little over € 30, which is absolutely fine. The food was really delicious and something new :) We ordered two vegan mixed plates and tried everything that is really recommendable. Possibly. it makes sense to order an extra portion of sauce, otherwise (depending on your taste) it could be a bit too dry. All in all: a super delicious meal, we will definitely order again and the extra Christmas cookies that came with the order are a nice touch. Clear recommendation!

Super friendly staff. The food was really great and the portions were really big. My concern in restaurants is often that I can't get enough, but that's not the case here. 5 Stars.

10years ago i visited some Ghanaian restaurants in Accra Ghana & had a nice experience & 10years after in (2020) i discovered Mataa's Kitchen, a taste of Ghana here in Bremen Germany.. I was so elated, dragged a friend along & visited. they blew my mind away.. their attention to details on every plate served thrilled me & the taste of their meals left me wanting more & evoked memories of mouthwatering meals i had 10yrs ago in Accra 😋 they just won a loyal customer. #Mataa'sKitchenBremen 👍

Very, very tasty food (also for people who eat vegan). The banana story in particular is awesome. But everything is also very good. We had ordered at 4 p.m. and the food was there at 4 p.m. Very good and clear online shop on the homepage.

I had the Kelewele (2 fried plantains with peanuts) as a starter. It was my very first time eating plantain and I was hooked from the first bite. So smooth and perfectly spiced that I just wanted more. But I could not eat more because there was an even more delicious main dish waiting for me. I had the jollof rice, with a huge piece of chicken, black pepper sauce and a fresh salad. The jollof rice was a delight and with the juicy and tasty piece of chicken it was a perfect combination . Yet, the black pepper sauce enhanced the whole experience even more. The sauce had just the right level of spiciness. I can usually handle a lot of spice but the black pepper sauce was unexpectedly a bit above my level, which I liked very much. It was still very tasty, so it didn't numb my tongue and it had this healing effect. Do you know that feeling when a good level of spice makes your nose runny and your body warm? That is exactly what I had with the black pepper sauce, it cleaned me from the inside. They have even spicier sauces, but I will see how brave I am the next time! For the dessert I had the couscous joghurt and a bofrot, which where both a nice finish to a great experience at Mataa's Kitchen. So all in all I enjoyed eating here very much, also because of the service, location and music, but more importantly because of the food that definitely tasted fresh and homemade! I am looking forward to my next time.

It's been a long time since eaten so delicious and served so warmly. It was delicious and we felt really good, nothing was missing We drove there especially from the Ruhr area because it is so delicious there

Wow .... some time ago I got a suggestion on Instagram to visit Mataa's Kitchen ... immediately saved and lo and behold, a month later on a business trip to Bremen I went there straight away ... was a bit too cool to be on the small, cozy terrace so I sit in ... and again wow ... a colorful little shop that smelled great ... a young lady probably had a birthday ... and the mood was accordingly good ... now for dinner ... a small menu with individual dishes that you could combine with each other ... on recommendation as I would have loved to try everything ... a platter for two with many small portions of rice and sauces ... so that I could try everything ... that's exactly how I wanted it to be ... you order it if you like fish, chicken or beef .. I of course everything .. fine, perfectly balanced spices .... the highlight was the fish ... crispy on the outside finely seasoned and super juicy inside ... perfect with a water and a beer from Ghana 🇬🇭 ... I have one point of criticism ... the napkins could be a bit firmer ... 😂🙈 ..

Cute little restaurant, which is more casual, not that fancy. The service is friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and tasty! The choice isn't huge, but that doesn't matter. There is also a lot for vegans. Prices are totally okay too. I will definitely come back there, even if that is a little further away for me.

Great service, even greater food.

I would give the restaurant 4/4 stars because of the delicious food and friendly staff, but unfortunately my fried yams were no longer crispy, but dry, and that has happened a lot when I order yam. The fish is also usually no longer crispy. The beef tastes very good, but for the quantity (3 pieces of beef) the price is too expensive. Otherwise the food tastes very good and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Africa.

It was different! We really liked the food, a small and tasty selection. One small thing, however, is that the chairs and table outside for four are very wobbly. Thanks for the nice evening! We'd love to come back because even my picky four-year-old daughter found something to eat 😉

The food is good, not like the real homemade one made by Ghanaian mothers 😊, but the place is cool. A bit expensive for the portions they offer, that's why 4 and not 5 stars. The portions should be bigger in my humble opinion 🤷🏾‍♀️.

A young and cosmopolitan restaurant with very good cuisine and exceptionally attentive and good service. The dishes served were all fresh and of very good quality. We would like to highlight the evaluation by the Service MA, which was carried out unobtrusively and success-oriented. Very happy again, but it was worth the trip from Leer to Bremen. thank you

The food was very delicious even though I don't handle spicy food it was really tasty

The food in the restaurant was very tasty and exceptional. We were served very friendly and the overall concept was right. The only small minus point is the rather small shop size. We were there with a Groupon voucher and also received what we were supposed to receive according to the voucher. Keep it up Mataa's Kitchen team! We will definitely come again.

Delicious food the fish is a must if your gonna eat here😋😋 Being a few blocks from my house, they definitely have a customer for life🥰
